Goals 2010

Sigma’s comprehensive goal is to regain our previous position in the market in regard to both growth and profitability. We have divided our goal formulation into four, more concrete, measureable goals for the calendar year, 2010.

  • Delivery – The percentage of invoiced commitments shall exceed 50 %.
  • Market – Increase business volumes with Sigma’s prioritized customers.
  • Profitability – With the prospect of a slow improvement in the business cycle, Sigma will report a substantially improved margin as compared with 2009.
  • Growth – Gradually increasing growth at the same rate that the business cycle improves.

Strategies

Our strategy is founded on two important cornerstones – our types of deliveries and our internal efficiency. Delivery types include both commitments and synchronized international deliveries. In subsidiaries, there are more locally-adapted strategies that are associated to these.

  • Be sensitive to the needs of the market, and specifically our customers’ needs by following customers’ geographic expansion.
  • Continue to develop solutions and working methods that involve new forms of commitments and responsibility to the customer.
  • Always deliver what the customer is expecting and have a focus on quality and customer benefits.
  • Develop relations with our prioritized customers; continued focus on major customers.
  • New customers shall be sought out within our existing market segments for the purpose of long-term development
  • Develop internal processes and working methods to create additional cost-efficiency.
  • Focus on being an attractive workplace and continually developing our employees by offering customer assignments on the cutting-edge of technology and societal development.
