Uppsala-based Biotage sells instruments, consumables, and service withinin analytical chemistry and pharmaceutical chemistry. Its customers include the world's largest pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, and leading academic institutions.Sigma has helped Biotage to implement Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 in two phases. The group previously had three different systems in Europe, USA, and Japan, which meant different working practises, account charts, and product numbers.This does not work in a global business, and a few years ago the transition to a single, common business system to create uniform procedures and parameters was initiated.Today, Biotage has a reliable business system with simple, effective routines and strong control over the company's finances.

Orifarm is Denmark’s largest pharmaceuticals supplier. After the company successfully worked for a few years with a Business Intelligence solution developed by Sigma, the companies jointly decided it was time for Orifarm to take the next step. The Corporate Performance Management (CPM) used has strong connections and feedback routes between business strategy, budget and planning, the operational areas and follow-up.
