About the role

As a Commissioning Lead Engineer, you will have a key role in planning, leading, and executing commissioning activities for automated process equipment in regulated and complex industrial environments. You will work close to production, automation, engineering, and quality functions to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant start-up of new or upgraded systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate commissioning activities for automated process equipment

• Hands-on commissioning and troubleshooting of automation systems

• Ensure equipment and systems are commissioned according to specifications, standards, and project requirements

• Collaborate with automation engineers, process engineers, QA, and suppliers

• Support FAT/SAT activities and start-up phases

• Document commissioning activities and ensure proper handover to operations

• Contribute to continuous improvements in commissioning methodologies and ways of working

Your profile

• Proven experience as a Commissioning Engineer or Commissioning Lead

• Strong hands-on background in automation and process equipment

• Experience from industrial or Life Science environments (pharma, biotech, medical devices, or similar)

• Good understanding of commissioning, start-up, and system integration

• Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset

• Ability to work independently as well as in cross-functional teams

• Fluent in English; Swedish is considered a strong advantage
