Senior Software Engineer – Computer Vision, Active Safety ( Auto, RA Traffic Information)
Are you passionate about using computer vision and machine learning to make driving safer?
RA Traffic Information within customer Automotive is looking for a Senior Software Engineer as a consultant to join our team in Linköping. We develop state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms enabling active safety and automated driving features for global automotive customers.
You will be part of a skilled, collaborative team working close to both algorithm research and production software, turning ideas into high‑quality code running on customer´s automotive platforms.
Your responsibilities
- Design, implement and optimize computer vision and ML algorithms for active safety functions
- Develop robust, production-quality software in Python and C/C++
- Collaborate with algorithm, systems, and validation engineers to take features from concept to production
- Drive technical workstreams, contribute to architecture and design discussions, and mentor junior engineers
- Contribute to continuous improvement of our tools, ways of working, and development processes
Mandatory qualifications
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Software Engineering, or similar
- At least 5 years of hands-on software development experience
- Strong programming skills in Python and C/C++
- Solid experience with modern software engineering practices (code reviews, testing, CI, etc.)
