Test Engineer in Electronics/Power Electronics – Helsingborg

We are looking for a test engineer on behalf of the customer for a consulting assignment in Helsingborg with a planned start in Q4.

The assignment is in product development of electrical products for industrial applications and involves practical work with testing, verification and troubleshooting.

The consultant will work with:

• Planning and implementation of tests and verification
• EMC Testing
• Vibration and mechanical tests
• Temperature cycling and climate and environmental tests
• Electrical Tests and Measurements
• Construction and management of test setups
• Analysis and documentation of test results
• Troubleshooting together with development engineers
• Coordination of tests at external test laboratories when testing opportunities are not available internally

We are looking for a consultant with

• Relevant background in electronics, electrical engineering, mechatronics or equivalent
• Experience in testing and verification of electrical/electronic products
• Practical experience with measuring equipment and test setups
• Good understanding of electrical safety and electrical systems
• Experience in troubleshooting and analysis
• Ability to independently plan, carry out and document tests

It is important that the consultant is comfortable with electrical products in a wide voltage range, from common electrical equipment to higher voltages and powers for industrial applications.
