Mechanical Design Engineer within the Defense Industry (CAD/CREO)

We are currently seeing a growing demand for mechanical designers for assignments within the defense industry and are seeking someone with experience in mechanical design using PTC Creo.
As a mechanical designer, you will work at the cutting edge of technology in an agile, cross-functional team. The assignment involves the development of advanced sensor systems with high demands on quality, safety, and innovation. You will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical solutions, often in close collaboration with colleagues from related technical areas, as well as with manufacturing and suppliers.
You will be an important part of a team working with:

Design of components in mechanics and power distribution

CAD modeling and documentation using Creo, and work in systems such as Windchill and IFS

Concept studies, improvement work, and technical dialogue with suppliers

You are driven, engaged, and always strive to deliver your best. You are attentive to the customer’s/project’s needs and can quickly adapt to new environments and cultures. At your core, you have a passion for technology and solid skills in Creo.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Product Development, or similar

A few years of experience in mechanical design, preferably within the defense, automotive, or manufacturing industries

Proficiency in PTC Creo and a natural interest in technology

Fluent in both Swedish and English, written and spoken

Experience in product-oriented development in agile teams is highly meritorious
