Senior CFD simulation engineer (1D/3D)

Sigma Energy & Marine provides expertise in marine applications, renewable energy, subsea applications and process industry. We take pride in delivering industry-leading competence to global companies as well as startups by being present on-site while maintaining a highly developed in-house operation. Our competence and experience in analysis within our areas of work are extensive and recognized within the industry.

We are now seeking a senior CAE/CFD Engineer to further strengthen our team within 1D/3D-simulations. We are looking for someone who wants to develop further together with us at Sigma Energy & Marine within this or other areas. Our calculation department also possesses competencies in FEA, mooring, and stability, making us a complete supplier for our customers. Much of our work takes place in our office in multidisciplinary projects or on-site at the clients base.

Basic qualifications

You have a Master's degree or equivalent coupled to the CFD field with deep knowledge within fluid mechanics, thermodynamics and heat transfer. At least 3-5 years documented experience of working with 3D CFD and/or 1D system simulations. Fluent in English is mandatory and a valid work permit is required. Driver's license (B) is a plus.

Preferred additional skills, personal traits and experience

Experience of using STAR-CCM+, Fluent and GT-Suite is a plus. Furthermore, experience of working within electromobility such as batteries or electrical machines is a plus.
