Senior Embedded SW Consultant

Job description

The Connectivity Engineering division is currently looking for several Mid-Level and Senior Embedded Software Developers to join our consulting team.

In this role, you will work with embedded software development across a wide range of technologies, platforms, and operating systems. Our projects often involve connectivity-related solutions and may include areas such as wireless communication, device integration, low-level programming, and system development.

Assignments vary depending on customer needs and projects, providing opportunities to work with different technologies, tools, and industries. You will collaborate in cross-functional teams together with experts in software, electronics, mechanics, quality assurance, and other engineering disciplines.

Basic qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded software and/or a PhD in Electronics or Computer Science.
• Experience from product development life cycle
• C and/or C++ experience
• Bash and/or Python
• FPGA/VHDL development
• Digital Signal Processing
• Git/Gerrit

Preferred additional skills, personal traits and experience

• Knowledge in realtime OS (e.g. FreeRTOS) or embedded Linux/Android
• Experience from hardware or electrical design development
• Experience from Bluetooth, BLE, Wifi, Sensors
• Passion for IoT and the embedded area
• Technically driven
