Role Description
The consultant will administrate, control, and review technical documentation within projects using document management systems. The role requires senior-level expertise in documentation management, including strong awareness of global standards and best practices.
The consultant will ensure the development, governance, and continuous improvement of document management processes within the business. This includes providing expert guidance to stakeholders, monitoring efficiency through KPIs, reporting, and auditing, and ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities

Manage documentation deliverables within MACH R&D projects and products in accordance with project and company requirements

Act as the primary point of contact for documentation management within GI MACH

Review documentation against requirements and coordinate closely with engineering teams

Ensure proper version control and governance within document management systems

Establish and implement document control processes together with project teams
-
Continuously monitor and follow up on documentation delivery throughout project execution

Identify risks and improvement opportunities related to documentation processes
-
Measure and monitor documentation management performance using KPIs, reporting, and auditing

Contribute to continuous improvement and development of documentation management practices

Minimum Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
-
More than 10 years of experience in document management or a closely related field

Documented experience in senior or specialist documentation roles
-
Experience with national or international standardization work is advantageous
-
Strong ability to work efficiently in computer-based environments
-
Experience with multiple document management systems is an advantage
-
Fluency in English; fluency in Swedish or other local language is a plus
Preferred Background & Skills
-
Over 6 years of experience in documentation management within engineering or R&D environments
-
Proven experience in establishing and continuously improving document management processes
-
Strong background in document control for R&D documentation
-
High proficiency in document management and database tools
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Excellent written English; Swedish is a plus
-
Familiarity with xECM and InEight is considered a plus
