We are seeking an experienced Python Developer (DevOps focus) to join a cross-functional agile team responsible for the development, customization, and operation of an enterprise-grade IT monitoring platform. The platform tracks real-time status and performance data of servers, network devices, applications, and cloud and containerized environments. Your primary focus will be on developing and extending monitoring functionality — with a DevOps mindset being a definite advantage.

Key tasks:

• Development and customization of the monitoring platform, including writing and maintaining Python-based plugins, checks, and integrations
• Participating in security patching, version upgrades, and the ongoing maintenance of the platform
• Supporting platform operations: contributing to deployment, configuration management, and troubleshooting activities
• Collaborating closely with colleagues in an agile team setup, including developers, an ML engineer, a security lead, and an agile coach
• Working alongside client-side stakeholders (Product Owner, Solution Architect, Service Operations Manager) on feature delivery and technical alignment
• Maintaining technical documentation and contributing to knowledge sharing within the team

Basic qualifications

• Solid Python development experience, including scripting for automation and tool integration
• Hands-on experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or GitLab)
• Familiarity with monitoring concepts and solutions (e.g., agent-based monitoring, SNMP)
• Linux proficiency at the command-line level
• Openness to new technologies, a sense of ownership, and the flexibility to adapt in a dynamic environment

Preferred additional skills, personal traits and experience

• DevOps background or genuine interest in operations: Linux administration, Ansible, shell/bash scripting, certificate and database management, container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes/Podman), or cloud-based deployments
• Experience with test-driven development (TDD) or observability-driven development (ODD)
• Familiarity with telecoms hardware or enterprise infrastructure environments
• Ability to work independently and take initiative when identifying gaps or proposing improvements
• Strong analytical mindset for diagnosing complex system issues
• Collaborative approach and openness to working in a cross-functional, international agile team
