Frontend Developer Consultant – EBISense Application Assignment Overview

We are seeking an experienced Frontend Developer Consultant to support the ongoing development and enhancement of the EBISense application. The consultant will be responsible for delivering prioritized frontend functionality, improving the user experience, and maintaining high-quality, scalable UI components.

The role involves close collaboration with Product Owners, Project Managers, Backend Developers, and other technical stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of business-critical features.

Responsibilities Frontend Development

• Develop and implement frontend features based on prioritized Jira backlog items.
• Build, enhance, and maintain reusable UI components following established design and usability standards.
• Translate business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria into high-quality frontend solutions.
• Ensure responsive, performant, and user-friendly interfaces.

Collaboration & Delivery

• Work closely with Product Owners, Project Managers, UX/UI stakeholders, and Backend Developers to clarify requirements and dependencies.
• Participate in backlog refinement sessions, sprint planning, estimations, and technical discussions.
• Provide realistic effort estimates and technical input regarding frontend development activities.
• Contribute to successful project delivery according to agreed timelines.

Quality & Maintenance

• Resolve frontend defects, bugs, and minor enhancement requests during development cycles.
• Maintain high standards for code quality, readability, testability, and maintainability.
• Follow established development processes, including Git workflows, code reviews, and documentation standards.
• Ensure compliance with frontend development best practices.

Continuous Improvement

• Proactively identify opportunities to improve usability, accessibility, and overall user experience.
• Recommend and implement frontend optimizations to improve performance and maintainability.
• Contribute to reducing technical debt and modernizing the frontend codebase where appropriate.

Required Qualifications Technical Competencies

• Proven experience as a Frontend Developer working with modern web applications.
• Strong expertise in:
  • HTML5
  • CSS3
  • JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as:
  • React
  • Angular
  • Vue.js or similar
• Experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Strong knowledge of Git-based version control and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience working with ticket-driven development environments, preferably Jira.

Professional Experience

• Demonstrated experience delivering frontend functionality from a structured product backlog.
• Comfortable estimating development effort and working against project plans and sprint commitments.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams involving multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with the wider team.

• Familiarity with industrial, manufacturing, or enterprise digital solutions.
• Experience contributing to frontend architecture decisions and technical modernization initiatives.

• Role: Frontend Developer Consultant
• Location: Hybrid / Remote (to be agreed)
• Start Date: As soon as possible
• Duration: Initial contract period with possibility of extension
• Allocation: Full-time preferred
